The ArtsLink manages Charlie and the Chocolate Factory's education and participation strategy, as well as offering education marketing consultancy. This includes management of The Imagination Awards which launched in October and were nominated for Best Musical Theatre Education Resource at the Music Teacher Excellence Awards - www.imaginationawards.co.uk.
In January, we launch official Charlie and the Chocolate Factory workshop programmes for schools across the UK.
Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has quickly become one of the West End’s most popular and successful stage musicals, and recently celebrated its 1000th performance as well as winning a London Lifestyle Award. It also won two Olivier awards in April 2014, and has broken records at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, where it has been seen by over 1.7 million people since it opened in June 2013.
